Malo is a painfully sensitive teenager, who yearns to be one of the cool kids at school. His best friend Stephane is in a similar predicament. They agree to host German exchange students in the hope that the visiting teenager will enhance their coolness by association. Unfortunately for Malo, he is paired with a Goth girl called Sasha, who seems to be on a mission to wreck his life. Cultures clash and amidst the devastation, Malo learns some painful home truths.
