Director Andy Morton's swooning production of Puccini recorded live on a water stage suspended over Sydney Harbour under the baton of conductor Brain Castles-Onion. This staging of La Boheme is set against the backdrop of the 1960s student uprising in Paris where poet Rodolfo and painter Marcello are struggling to complete their artistic endeavours in the bitter cold. Rodolfo runs into his neighbour Mimi. Their hands touch in the darkness, sparking the flames of lust and attraction.
