True crime thriller set in the 1940s during the dawn of the literary revolution, which brings together Beat poets Allen Ginsberg, Lucien Carr, Jack Kerouac and William S Burroughs. These brilliant young men meet at Columbia University in 1944 and intellectually spar with each other. There are also sparks of sexual tension and attraction between some of the intellectuals but burgeoning friendships are tested to the limit by the brutal murder of David Kammerer.
