Unsettling drama based on Susanna Kaysen's book about her horrific experiences in a '60s mental hospital. Following a failed suicide attempt, Kaysen was prescribed a short rest at a facility for disturbed teenage girls. There, she met an eclectic group of lost souls who rapidly became her closest friends and provided her with a guiding light back to the someone she thought had disappeared forever.
