Biopic of writer JM Barrie, author of perennial classic Peter Pan. Set in 1904 London, Finding Neverland follows Barrie as he meets widow Sylvia Llewelyn Davies and her four children, and is inspired to immortalise them in the classic adventure about the boy who never grew up. One of the children, Peter, is especially moved by Barrie’s friendship and adopts the writer as a surrogate father, as an emotional support to help come to terms with his own sense of loss and grief.
