Bill Viola is one of the world’s most influential video artists, who challenges preconceptions with eye-catching multimedia work created in close collaboration with his wife Kira Perov. This documentary portrait spends 12 years in the company of Viola and Petrov as they conceive two multi-screen permanent exhibits called Martyrs (Earth, Air, Fire, Water) and Mary, which will be installed on either side of the High Altar in St Paul’s Cathedral in London.
