A filmed stage performance of Nandita Das and Divya Jagdale's contemporary drama. Shekhar and Maya are a well-educated, affluent couple living in India, who have successfully managed to walk the tightrope between modernity and tradition. Shekhar is a well-respected criminal lawyer and Maya drafts contracts for a law firm, while maintaining their family home. By chance, the couple ends up arguing on opposite sides of a domestic abuse criminal trial. Differences of opinion blur boundaries in Shekhar and Maya's personal and professional lives.
