Following the passing of her father Kazuo, 11-year-old Momo Miyaura moves from the bright lights of Tokyo to a remote island named Shio with her mother Ikuko. The change of surroundings is unsettling for the grief-stricken girl, who discovers an unfinished letter from her father that contains just two words: “Dear Momo”. Haunted by the missive, Momo discovers she is part of a greater mystery that can only be unravelled with the magical assistance of three imps called Iwa, Kawa and Mame.
