Emotionally scarred Bobby Morrow, who was orphaned at an early age, moves to swinging ’80s New York to live with his gay friend Jonathan, sharing a cramped flat with Jonathan’s vivacious room-mate Clare. She gravitates towards painfully naive Bobby and the pair begin an affair, much to Jonathan’s obvious jealousy.
