Born in 1923 in London, John Krish rose to prominence as a documentary filmmaker during the 1940s. However, he often came into conflict with the men in suits for subverting the central message in order to engage his audience. This compendium of four short films shot between 1953 and 1964 paints a vivid portrait of a country in transition after the Second World War and includes some of his best loved work: The Elephant Will Never Forget, They Took Us To The Sea, Our School and I Think They Call Him John.
