Former The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright has joined Heart FM and will host two Christmas special shows before claiming a regular slot on the station in the new year.

Wright starts his DJ stint with festive editions of Party Classics on Christmas Eve (24.12.12) and Christmas Day (25.12.12) from 7pm, and in 2013 he will take up a permanent position as host of the Friday and Saturday night Club Classics show on the Heart network from 7-9pm.
He said: “I’ve always listened to Heart from being a kid on the way to school and now getting ready for a night out, so to be presenting my own radio show on the station is a great honour.
“I had to pinch myself when I found out and I can’t wait for my first show.”
Myleene Klass has also joined the network will be hosting her very own festive special, Myleene’s Klass Christmas, on Christmas Eve from midday, featuring exclusive performances from guests including The X Factor’s Ella Henderson.
Klass said: “I’m so excited to be joining the Heart presenter line up.
“To be given my own show, a piano and the chance to work with some incredible people (as well as the seemingly constant supply of mince pies), is a lovely way to get in the Christmas spirit.”
