Toni Collette has become a mother for the first time.

The Little Miss Sunshine star gave birth to a daughter, named Sage Florence, in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, on Wednesday morning (09.01.08).
Toni’s representative said: “All are well and very happy!”
The 35-year-old actress has been married to musician Dave Galafassi for four years. During the pregnancy, Toni revealed she felt she was destined to become a real-life mother after playing a parent in so many of her films, including The Sixth Sense, Little Miss Sunshine and About A Boy.
She said: “It is strange, the last three films I’ve done I have been pregnant. I’m just like, what is the universe trying to tell me? But I think everything happens when it’s meant to.”
Toni and Dave have homes in both Australia and Ireland and split their time between the two.
