STACEY SOLOMON and Shaun Ryder – winner and runner-up on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here – are set to get back in together for a duet and are being urged to cover Christmas standard Fairytale of New York.

“Stacey is brilliant,” said Ryder.
“I am a big fan. That girl is phenomenal. She thinks she’ll end up back at Starbucks, but she can’t see that she has a career ahead of her and that she is beautiful.”
Minutes after Solomon was crowned Queen of the Jungle, LondonNet put out a jokey Twitter about the pair teaming up for a go at the song made famous by Shane McGowan and Kirsty McCall.
“What chance Shaun and Stacey covering Fairytale In New York for Christmas?” read the Tweet.
Not long after that, one of LondonNet’s followers had started a Facebook page to build up support for the idea.
“Ok so no one could replace the wonderful McCall and McGowan,” says the intro to the Facebook page.
“But the Londonnet.co.uk has come up with the genius plan that newly crowned Queen of the Jungle Stacey teams up with Shaun Ryder to remake the classic Fairytale of New York.”
