Speech Debelle to join Basement Jaxx on tour

BASEMENT JAXX have bagged Speech Debelle as the support act for their December tour of the UK.

The two acts, plus Debelle’s backing band The Therapists, will go on the road from 6 until 17 December for a seven show spree, the last date being the London leg of the tour, at the O2.

Yesterday, Basement Jaxx released their new album, Scars, which features guest appearances from several star names including Kelis and Yoko Ono.

Speech Debelle, who won the Mercury Prize last month with her debut album Speech Therapy, is performing at north London’s Scala tonight.
