The 64-year-old Rolling Stones frontman, who is famous for his youthful exterior and his endless energy on stage, maintains his zest for life by dancing with his daughters -36-year-old Karis, 35-year-old Jade, Elizabeth, 23, and Georgia, 14.

Mick told the BBC: “Someone who is tired after a 48-hour week should move to France. They should work less.

“He should work maybe 30 hours and then get out more and go dancing with his daughters – that would do it.”

Mick also revealed he loves singing in the shower, but never chooses his own hit records.

He said: “Absolutely – I love singing in the shower, but not usually my own songs. The thing about shower songs is you never quite know what’s going to pop in to your head. It could be something you’ve just heard on the radio or it could be something from years and years ago.”

Meanwhile, Mick is planning to pen his life story but wants to write the book himself.

He said: “It’s a funny thing because talking about the past and telling all your old stories is all very fascinating but to make a book of it? I don’t really find it that appealing. I have got some other ideas about how to do a book that isn’t just another celebrity-as-told-to-some-writer.

“First of all I think it is more interesting writing it yourself rather then telling it to someone. Secondly, I got a few ideas to find another format to tell this kind of autobiographical story.”
