Russell Brand has signed a USD3 million deal to write two more books.

The British comedian – whose autobiography My Booky Wook sold over 600,000 copies in the UK – will release the two titles with HarperCollins Publishers Worldwide, who have also secured rights to publish his first book in the US – due out early next year.
The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star said of his deal: “I am very pleased to get money for writing these books as I was going to write them anyway.”
As well as penning two new tomes, Brand is reportedly set to star in a new Carry On film.
The 32-year-old funnyman was said to be in secret talks to play a Simon Cowell style music impresario alongside stars including Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding in Carry On To The Next Round, the first film in the famous British comedy series for 16 years.
