Rebecca Romijn wants Ugly Betty writers to make her character fat so she can have a baby.

The blonde beauty – who plays transsexual Alexis Meade in the hit US TV show – is desperate to start a family with her actor husband Jerry O’Connell and they recently had dinner with Ugly Betty producer Marco Pennette to discuss writing her pregnancy into the show.
Rebecca, 35, told the USA Today newspaper: “It could be a hysterical pregnancy. There are people who want to be pregnant so badly that they put on weight in that area. Or maybe Alexis could put on a tremendous amount of weight, and I’d wear a fat suit around the pregnancy.”
The X Men: The Last Stand star met Scream 2 actor Jerry at a Las Vegas hotel three years ago and they married this summer.
Jerry, 33, is just as keen to start a family as soon as possible.
He said: “We’re definitely working at it. It’s never as easy as everybody thinks. It just isn’t.
“When you’re married to Rebecca, you should try to have as many children as possible. And I want to do that before she figures out that she could do a lot better than me.”
She added: “That’s a very sweet and strange thing to say. Jerry is an amazing guy.”
