PETE DOHERTY was back in trouble with the law the other day, when Swiss police arrested the Babyshambles front man following a London-Geneva flight.

“We were contacted by the captain of a BA flight and a passenger was controlled by police,” said a spokesperson for the Swiss police.
“He was charged – but I cannot say what with. He paid a fine and was allowed to go.”
Despite that teasing official’s reticence, it has been confirmed that the fine was for drug use.
Rumours are doing the rounds that Doherty’s mid-air sin was to be caught in the plane toilets with a needle sticking out of his arm.
Despite the narcotic worrries, Doherty, 30, has performed live with success in recent weeks and has scheduled a short tour of the UK in September as a solo artist, with the Roundhouse featuring as the London venue.
