NAOMI CAMPBELL plans to fly to Haiti to make a personal check on how the money she’s raised for the earthquake-shattered country is being spent.

“I think it’s really important that we see where the money is going,” Campbell told the Daily Mail.

“I’m passionate about going over there to help all those children. My heart goes out to all of them.”

Campbell has thrown herself into raising money for Haiti. Only last Thursday, at the start of London Fashion Week, she organised a Fashion for Relief night, raising thousands of pounds.

The Streatham-bred supermodel also revealed that she aims to eschew the celebrity stuff when she makes the trip to the stricken Caribbean nation.

“I want to do a really low-key trip and fly on a regular flight without any aides and any fuss and get on the ground and do some work,” she said.

On Thursday, 25 February, there’s a Haiti fundraiser at the Roundhouse, with acts like the Futureheads, Paul Weller The Magic Numbers on the line-up.
