Morrissey tour back on track

MORRISSEY has re-jigged his world tour following his recent virus illness.

Fans were left disappointed when the former Smiths legend called off some Refusal tour gigs in the UK last week, including two nights at the Brixton Academy, but Mozza is keen to re-assure punters that those shows will be re-scheduled.

“I should stress that nothing has been cancelled,” said Morrissey.

“The four London concerts are repositioned in July, and both Birmingham and the Royal Albert Hall are October fixtures.”

“I apologise to everyone caught up in the to-ing and fro-ing, but the disappointment of postponement is less than the disappointment of hearing me sing on one engine.”

Now “reconstructed by a Wiltshire hospital and as close to good health as I’m likely to get”, Morrissey is to get back on the road with a concert in Luxembourg this Friday, 5 June.

Tickets for the London legs of Refusal can be ordered here, where there are also tickets to be had for some of the UK and mainland Europe gigs.
