MICHAEL JACKSON has baffled casting agencies by demanding a choir full of sing-languaging kids from a variety of ethnic backgrounds for his series of concerts at the O2.

“Jacko is a perfectionist and wants it exactly right and that means every child being able to do sign language,” a source for concert promoters AEG told The Mirror.

“Normally when we cast choirs for acts, it’s quite a laborious task. But in this case, it’s proving a near impossibility.”

It’s not just that Jackson wants an ethnic mix to his backing choir – he is said to fancy an “exactly equal” number of white, black, mixed-race and Asian children.

“AEG are desperate to keep Jacko happy and so are pulling out all the stops to make it happen,” the AEG source added.

“But it’s a race against time.”

The whole thing might sound bizarre, but compared to Jacko’s earlier plans, which included him riding on stage on top of an elephant, they seem pretty tame.
