The fashion designer twins – who gained initial fame as child TV stars before branching out into fashion – have previously had success with their The Row label and their Elizabeth and James contemporary collection, and are now launching a collection with Stylemint in the UK.

The collection debuted in the US 12 months ago, and has already attracted celebrity fans including Rachel Bilson, Chloe Moretz and Dakota Fanning.

The range is aimed at making fashion affordable, with most items, such as tops, dresses and skirts costing under £20.

The twins were earlier this month named Council of Fashion Deisgners of America (CFDA)’s Womenswear Designer of the Year for The Row.

The pair were also recently thrilled when their Supergo range of sneakers designed with Steve Madden sold out.

Ashley said: “When we first met with Steve Madden, who we’ve collaborated with for a long time, I was wearing my old, beat-up Supergas and he said, ‘Oh I’ve been wanting to buy that company,’ and I said, ‘Well, you know if you do, please think of us.’

“Now our styles for The Row have sold out in a matter of hours when they first came online, and we’re thrilled, we really are.”

Mary-Kate and Ashley are not the only celebrities to team with Stylemint, as singer Cheryl Cole previously launched a shoe range through the site.
