Lourdes – nicknamed ‘Lola’ by her famous mother – has been approached by producers of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to become the latest pupil to enroll at Hogwarts.

A source said: ‘Lola’ has definitely inherited her mother’s hunger for fame. After all her recent public appearances, looking more like a sophisticated teen than a child, the attention on her is really growing. Film and sponsorship offers have poured in.

‘An executive at Warner Brothers wanted to cast Lola in the last ‘Harry Potter’ film and has renewed his interest for the next movie. ‘Lola’ would love to do it – she is a huge fan.’

Lourdes – whose father is fitness trainer Carlos Leon – has also been asked to star in a kids’ musical as well as being offered her own line of children’s clothing for high street store H+M.

However, Madonna – who also has a seven-year-old son, Rocco, with husband Guy Ritchie and a two-year-old adopted son David – is said to be hesitant to let her 11-year-old daughter take up the offers as she thinks she’s still too young.

The source added to The Sun: ‘Madonna is having serious doubts over letting her do the musical. Even something as innocent as a clothing range she turned down on behalf of her daughter. She wants her to lead as normal as childhood as possible.

‘But she knows it’s inevitable that sooner or later ‘Lola’ will become famous on her own. She was a very strong sense of herself. She has often said she wants to become a dancer.’
