MADONNA has been banned from spending the night with her kids at Christmas time.

The singer had hoped to sleep in Ashcombe House, the country pile she once shared with Guy Ritchie, but he has put the block on her plan.
“Guy is desperate to see the children on Christmas Day and was OK with them all spending the day at Ashcombe,” a source told The Sun.
“He was even willing to have Madonna there for the sake of the children. But having her stay over was just too much. He couldn’t bear the thought of her padding round the kitchen the next morning like old times.
“There are too many sad memories.”
Now the warring ex-couple are trying to come up with a seasonal scheme that can satisfy them both, “but they just can’t agree on anything and it’s not as if she can stay in the B&B up the road,” said the same source.
“If one of them doesn’t back down, it could be a very unhappy Christmas.”
