The famously up and at ’em Oasis front man had previously said of the Hollywood star, “I hate that small bastard”, but was as nice as pie to Cruise when the pair met by accident in a German hotel.
The weekend meeting started off in confrontational fashion when Cruise quizzed Gallagher on his comment, but the Don’t Look Back in Anger singer failed to rise to the bait, meekly admitting that he “really liked” Cruise in Cocktail.
