The couple tied the knot in secret at London’s Westminster Register Office – where Liam, 35, wed his first wife Patsy Kensit in 1997 – in front of a select few friends and family.

Guests included the couple’s six-year-son Gene, Liam’s eight-year-old son Lennon with Patsy, Liam’s mother Peggy and Nicole’s sister Natalie and her Prodigy husband Liam Howlett.

Liam’s brother and bandmate Noel was notably absent from the ceremony as he has remained in the US to continue working on the group’s new album.

The newlyweds kept details of the big day a secret to the last minute and posted seven different dates and eight venues at the old Marylebone town hall.

A pal said: “It was exactly what Liam and Nicole wanted – a romantic, intimate ceremony.”

Following the nuptials, the wedding party, which also included Nicole’s All Saints bandmates Melanie Blatt and Shaznay Lewis, headed to London’s Landmark Hotel to continue the celebrations. Melanie, 32, said: “It has been a very good day.”

Liam’s marriage to Patsy Kensit ended in divorce in 2000, while Nicole, 33, was previously engaged to singer Robbie Williams.
