The hip-hop super-producer’s publicist Monique Idlett has given birth to a baby girl, and the happy couple have announced their engagement.
A source said: ‘They welcomed a baby girl into the world a couple of days ago. They’re both really happy together. They’ve known each other for years.’
Timbaland had been secretly dating Idlett for two years and the 36-year-old rap mogul – real name Timothy Mosley – proposed at their baby shower last month. The couple – neither of whom have been married before – are planning to tie the knot next year.
Reports that Timbaland was expecting a baby with a woman who works for his record label Mosley Music Group only surfaced at the beginning of the week. It was originally claimed the pair were not together.
