Jerry Hall threw a strop backstage after being voted off Strictly Come Dancing, announcing how “humiliated” she was that judges’ chose to save Michael Vaughan after the dance off.

Hall was in the bottom two with her partner Anton du Beke after the pair failed to impress judges with their quickstep to Mrs Robinson, but lost against former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan.

A source told The Sun: “Jerry was very disappointed. She did work hard last week.

“And she’d been telling everyone she was planning to dance the paso doble to Paint It Black next week, for Halloween. Her ex Mick Jagger, who co-wrote the song, had been talking to her about it.”

The model was so upset that Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell voted to save Vaughan – with only Bruno Tonioli being on her side – that she even claimed to have personal commitments in order to get out of the ‘exit’ interviews afterwards.

Hall was proud of her efforts during the competition though, saying before she left: “I’m a woman of a certain age and did find the training exhausting, so I am relieved to put my feet up.

“The judges had a very high standard, but I did my best and thought my dances looked great – and my body looks so good it has only done good things for me and my career.”
