The former ‘Friends’ actress has been named the leading US celebrity magazine covergirl, pushing ex-husband Brad Pitt into second place and his new partner Angelina Jolie into fourth, according to Forbes.com.
America’s Star magazine editor Candace Trunzo said: “I think that most women can relate to and empathise with someone that was so in love with a man who, in an incredible Hollywood twist, leaves her for his co-star in a film.”
Forbes.com’s study of a six-month period ending on June 30, revealed Jennifer, 38, appeared on six popular weekly magazine front covers, selling more than five million copies of People, Star, US Weekly, In Touch Weekly, Life + Style and OK! collectively.
Actress Scarlett Johansson took third place, while Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon secured the fifth spot.
The study considered how many issues each celebrity’s cover sold, the number of times a celebrity was the main cover star and their consumer appeal.
Meanwhile, Jennifer has purchased a $4million apartment in an Armani-designed building in New York’s financial district, which is in the final stages of development. ‘The Break-Up’ actress is so excited about moving in she can’t keep away from the construction site.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: “She is so in love with her new apartment that she keeps bribing the workmen to let her go up in the construction lift so she can have another look!”
