The Zoey 101 actress, who recently gave birth to the couple’s first child Maddie, is busy planning her nuptials and intends to get married at her home in Mississippi.
A friend of the 17-year-old said: “She loves everything about the area where she lives. She’s not going to get married in some luxury resort in the Caribbean or a hotel in Beverley Hills.
“Her own backyard with just the people who matter most is more Jamie Lynn’s style.”
Big sister Britney is set to be Jamie Lynn’s maid of honour, while Casey’s sister Ashlee is expected to be a bridesmaid.
It is thought Maddie will play an integral part in the ceremony, with the possibility of her being carried down the aisle in a basket filled with flowers.
Jamie Lynn has also been working on looking her best for the big day.
The friend added to America’s OK! magazine: “She’s already down to her pre-pregnancy weight. She has the cutest figure.”
