The Together Again singer denied reports she will join her brothers on stage during their rumoured Las Vegas residency, but would like to see them back together.

She said: “This is the first I’ve heard that. I would love for my brothers to get together.”

Janet also spoke of her desire to have children with her long-term boyfriend, producer Jermaine Dupri.

She added to US TV show Extra: “At some point in my life I want children. When I was younger, I used to babysit my nieces and nephews.”

Jermaine Jackson has previously spoken of his wish to reform the band, saying: “It could be sometime in 2008. Michael will be involved. We feel we have to do it one more time. We owe that to the fans and to the public.

“Michael has to be involved. He is a Jackson. He was at the meetings. Michael will be involved.”

The Jackson 5 – Tito, Marlon, Jackie, Jermaine and Michael – had a string of hits in the ’70s, including I Want You Back and ABC. They later became The Jacksons after younger brother Randy joined. Their last tour was in 1984.
