The former model, who is currently embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with the Beatles legend, claims he has done nothing to help while she and four-year-old Beatrice have been “living in fear” for their lives.

During an interview with BBC News 24 yesterday
(31.10.07), Heather said: “I have been attacked by the papers who have printed lie after lie about me.

“I receive death threats and have been living in fear. If your wife or child were getting death threats wouldn’t you protect them?”

When asked if she was implying Paul does not protect her or Beatrice, Mills responded: “You decide.”

Appearing to predict her own death, Heather continued: “When my daughter is 12 or 14 and she’s reading all of this at least she will know her mother tried to tell the truth.”

She was then asked: “Why, do you not think you will be around then?”

To which Heather replied: “No, I don’t.”

The former model was then asked again: “Are you saying that Paul McCartney does not protect you and your daughter?”

She replied: “I’m afraid not.”

The outburst came during a day in which Heather attacked Paul live on British TV and radio. In an earlier TV appearance she claimed she has been a victim of a media
hate campaign, and likened herself to Princess Diana, who died in a Paris car crash in 1997 after being chased by paparazzi.

Heather said: “They make up such lies. They’ve called me a whore, a golddigger, a fantasist, a liar, the most unbelievably hurtful things, and I’ve stayed quiet for my daughter.

“We’ve had death threats, I’ve been close to suicide. I considered killing myself because I thought if I am dead, my daughter can be safe with her father.

“I have been persecuted. What did the paparazzi do to Princess Diana? They chased her and they killed her.”
