Heather Mills harms leg in 100mph ski crash

HEATHER MILLS is on the way back to the UK after injuring her knee in a 100mph skiing accident in Austria.

Now a member of the British Disabled Ski Team, the former wife of Sir Paul McCartney was on the Alps for a charity ski event when she came a cropper on the slopes.

“In Austria for the Schladming night race,” Mills wrote on her Twitter page.

“Can’t ski though as injured good knee in charity 24-hour ski race when public were let on the race track while skiing 100kph-plus. Should be good to ski again soon.”

Mills lost her other leg in a motorbike crash 18 years ago.
