GRAHAM NORTON has landed the role of a drag artist in the West End production of La Cage aux Folles.

The camp TV presenter will take over from current star of the Playhouse theatre show Douglas Hodge, from 19 January until 25 April.
Norton’s character, Albin, is the main performer at a Saint-Tropez drag venue, which faces closure when a right-wing politician starts a clean-up campaign.
La Cage aux Folles began as a 1973 play, morphed into a film and then into a musical in 1983.
