Geri Halliwell would never spend more than £100 on a dress.

The former Spice Girls singer recently launched a collection of evening dresses for UK high street store Next and with the most expensive gown being £95, Geri insists you don’t have to pay a lot of money to look good.

She said: “In the current climate, I’d never spend more than £100 on a dress. Looking good shouldn’t have to cost a lot.

“There’s something for everyone in the collection. There are dresses with built-in bras; bias-cut styles that skim your figure and draped designs to conceal your curves.”

Geri, 39, also says it’s important that when women are choosing an evening gown to should make sure the dress isn’t too much for them.

She revealed: “You should wear the dress – the dress shouldn’t wear you. And always wear a good pair of nude heels to make your legs look longer. Men can hide behind a suit, but women are completely exposed in an evening dress.”
