Kenny Goss, who began dating the former Wham! star in 1996, insists he will not be demanding any “red pen” rights after George revealed plans for an explosive tome.

He said: “I’m not asking for anything like that. But it should be an interesting book because George is a very honest person. Anyway, I’m not expecting to read anything I don’t already know.”

George has previously claimed he and Kenny have an open relationship, saying: “Gay relationships are a bit different. I’m sure we’ll be allowed to roam if we want to. But we love each other dearly.”

The Fastlove singer signed a deal to write a “no holds barred” autobiography last week and promised to reveal intimate details about his eventful life – including his homosexuality and UK and US arrests – after agreeing a multi-million pound publishing deal with HarperCollins.

The book – due to be released in autumn 2009 – is expected to include a “warts and all” chapter on his arrest for engaging in a lewd act in a Beverly Hills public toilet in 1998.
