GEORGE MICHAEL has told Elton John to “shut his mouth”.

The Wham! singer has concerned friends in recent years over his drug use, but Michael is fed up with the way Elton has positioned himself as his saviour and has decided the best way to deal with it is to launch a bitter tirade at his former pal.
“He will not be happy until I bang on his door in the middle of the night saying, ‘Please, please, help me, Elton. Take me to rehab’,” said Michael.
“It’s not going to happen.”
What appears to have pushed George over the edge is his discovery that it’s not just Elton John, but a frightening phalanx of celebs that is gossiping about him behind his back.
“You know what I heard last week?” said Michael.
“Geri [Halliwell] told Kenny [Goss] that Bono, having spoken to Elton, had approached Geri to say, ‘What can we do for George?’ As if Bono gives a shit what I do with my private life.
“Elton just needs to shut his mouth and get on with his own life.”
