The Foo Fighters frontman – who has his own wild experiences with drink, drugs and wild parties – believes low-key family gatherings would stop Hollywood stars from going into meltdown.

Grohl said: “The kids now who are experiencing fame, money, paparazzi – they need to get their a***s out of the nightclubs and have a barbecue with their f***ing family once a week. It’s not rocket science.”

While the rocker admits he has not lived an entirely blameless life, he hopes he isn’t going to hell.

The 38-year-old musician added to Maxim magazine: “I’d like to imagine I won’t end up in Hell, but I think I’ve done too much acid and listened to too much death metal to sit on a cloud next to God with angels floating above my head.”
