Daniel Baldwin’s wife Joanne Smith-Baldwin has given birth to the couple’s first child together.

Daughter Avis Ann Baldwin, who weighed 7lbs 10oz, was born at 12.59am yesterday morning (17.01.08) at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Daniel, 47, said: “Thank God she looks like her mother. We feel blessed.”
Joanne, 38, added: “I’m ecstatically happy. Daniel wasn’t as nervous as me. He’s a little used to this sort of thing. I’m glad he’s got some experience in this area.”
This is the fourth child for Daniel, who has a 24-year-old daughter Kahlea, a 13-year-old daughter Alexandra and an 11-year-old son Atticus all by different partners.
Daniel said: “The fourth time is a charm. Do we have another one right away or do we wait a while? We’re still not sure, but practicing is going to be fun.”
The couple met last year while Daniel was being treated at an exclusive drug and alcohol rehab clinic in Malibu, where former British model Joanne worked as a chef.
They were married last July.
