The 36-year-old actress arrived on set on Monday (15.09.08) to film for the second series of her hit comedy in Los Angeles, following a double mastectomy in July to treat breast cancer.

Following the operation, Christina revealed she has been given a clean bill of health by her physicians and is now cancer-free.

She said: “I’m clear. Absolutely 100 per cent clear and clean. It did not spread. They got everything out, so I’m definitely not going to die from breast cancer.”

Christina’s first public appearance since her operation was on September 5 at the Stand Up to Cancer telethon.

She has also been confirmed to present an Emmy award on Sunday (21.09.08), where she is also nominated for Best Lead Actress in a comedy series.

Christina will undergo reconstructive surgery on her chest over the next few months, and is looking forward to getting her womanly curves back.

She said: “After looking at all the treatment plans available to me I had a prophylactic double mastectomy. I just wanted to be rid of this whole thing for me. This was the choice that I made, and it was a tough one. I’m going to have cute boobs until I’m 90. I’m going to have the best boobs in the nursing home!”

The second season of ‘Samantha Who?’ will be broadcast in the US from October 13.
