Chace Crawford says his Gossip Girl character has been a bit of a “w***e”.

The 23-year-old actor – who plays troubled student Nate Archibald in the hit US TV show – admits he was surprised by some of his character’s saucy sex scenes.
He said: “Nate has been a bit of w***e this year!”
Chace also revealed his parents were less than impressed when Nate slept with an older woman on the second season of the show.
He added to US TV series The Insider: “There wasn’t positive feedback from my parents!”
Chace previously revealed he sometimes feels uncomfortable while filming Gossip Girl.
Speaking earlier this year, Chace explained: “Are the racy undertones a weight on my conscience? Well, yes, I think they are. I come from a moral background, and I can see the power of the show, and imagine my old school teachers cringing, or my grandparents thinking, ‘Oh, my God,’ when they see me, say, having sex on a barstool.
“But you have to remember, this is not a reality show. It’s supposed to be pure entertainment.”
