“I’m so pleased that Bruce Springsteen has agreed to come to Worthy Farm for the first time,” said Glastonbury head honcho Michael Eavis.

“He’s one of the all-time rock legends and I’m confident that this will be one of our best shows ever.”

The Boss will appear on Saturday June 27, before coming to London for a performance at the Hard Rock Calling event in Hyde Park.

Fellow rock legend Neil Young is rumoured to be one of the other big names at Glastonbury this year, along with Blur.

Tickets for the festival have already sold out.
