BRITNEY SPEARS has upset the good people of Manchester by mistaking them for Londoners.

Appearing at the MEN arena, Britney asked “What’s up, London?”, to the fury of the locals in the sell-out crowd, some of whom booed the singer.
Then Britney added to the insult/compliment by leaving the northern city right after her show to head straight back to her hotel in London.
“It was really odd,” one concert-goer told The Sun.
“I’m not sure if she noticed as she then continued with the performance.”
Another more forthright fan told the Daily Telegrpah: “If she can’t tell the difference between London and Manchester what hope has she got?”
Britney has now left London and the next stop on the Circus tour is Dublin, followed by Paris. Both cities might react even less kindly if she were to make the same London booboo again.
