The singer/DJ, jailed last month for falsely imprisoning a male escort, has been sent hundreds of cards by fans, many of them including money.
“It’s unbelievable why so many people would want to spend their money on him,” a source in Edmonds Hill prison, Suffolk, told The Mirror.
“But he has been genuinely touched by people’s concern for him.”
George was sentenced to 15 months inside for his crime. With good behaviour and parole, that could mean he spends about five months behind bars.
