BILL WYMAN has hit out at video games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band, for “encouraging kids not to learn”.

“It makes less and less people dedicated to really get down and learn an instrument,” said the former Rolling Stones bass guitarist.
“I think it’s a pity so I’m not really keen on that kind of stuff.”
Unsurprisingly, one of Rock Band’s creators, Alex Rigopulos disagreed.
“We’re constantly hearing from fans who were inspired by Rock Band to start studying a real instrument,” he said.
Wyman was speaking to the BBC on the day of the launch of The Beatles; Rock Band.
