HEATHER MILLS had a near staff mutiny on her hands following her split from Sir Paul McCartney in 2006, an employment tribunal heard today.

“Everyone was saying how difficult working conditions had become,” Mills’ former nanny, Sara Trumble, told the tribunal, held at Ashford in Kent.

“I wasn’t the only person who felt that at the time. Everyone was running around stressed.”

Trumble, now 26, is claiming compensation from Mills for sex discrimination and unfair dismissal.

Yesterday, the nanny told the tribunal that Mills had left a “horrible, rude message” on her phone during Trumble’s maternity leave and that she had been “humiliated” after being downgraded to cleaner when a new American nanny was brought in.

“Heather can be very generous, but there was also an unpleasant, distasteful side to her,” said Trumble.

Mills is due to say her piece later today as the tribunal continues.

This isn’t the first time Mills has had problems with staff. In 2008, Michele Elyzabeth quit her job as publicist, saying:

“After working for Heather Mills for four years, I have decided to cease representing her. Since her divorce has become final, in my opinion, Heather has become an impossible person.

“On Wednesday (23.07.08), we engaged in a heated argument during which she called me ‘stupid’. I reminded her that she was not ‘God’ and she answered, ‘I will never ever talk to you again’.”
