Olympic sprinter beaten in race by Robot at Enfield’s Lee Valley

BRITISH ATHLETICS STAR Adam Gemili has been beaten in a 100 metres race by a robot. The Olympic athlete was challenged by the new Confused.com mascot, BRIAN the Robot, to see if man or machine would come out on top in the sprint.

Adam’s time of 10.2 seconds was not enough to head off the high-tech automotan which glided over the line in a chip-burning 10.1 seconds.

The Man v Robot race took place at Enfield’s Lee Valley training ground ahead of Gemili’s hectic summer on the tracks.
