Edwardian siblings Bobbie, Peter and Phyllis are forced to relocate to Yorkshire with their mother to avoid the shame of their father’s wrongful arrest. The youngsters attempt to make the best of a bad situation and they soon become embroiled in the day to day workings of the local railway, gradually winning the affections of the local stationmaster. When disaster looms, the youngsters put their lives on the line to stop the train.
