This documentary pays tribute to Hanna, combining 20 years of archive footage and revealing interviews with Hanna to relive her deeply troubled upbringing, her introduction to spoken word poetry, her relationship with Kurt Cobain for whom she coined the phrase “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and her marriage to Adam Horowitz of Beastie Boys.
