Eighteen-year-old Venkatesh lives and works in Panjim, Goa, doing anything and everything to make money. He sells plastic bags on the streets with enterprising 11-year-old orphan, Jhangir, and cleans hotel rooms. Venkatesh is fascinated by the swimming pool of a vacant property so when the owner, Nana, arrives suddenly from Bombay, the teenager offers his services as a gardener. Friendship blossoms and Venkatesh helps Nana to rebuild bridges with his bored and rebellious daughter, Ayesha.
